Change of Name

CT UK Capital and Income Investment Trust PLC (“the Company”) announces that it has changed its name to CT Progressive Income PLC.

The change of name, which took effect on 16 October 2026, has been approved by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association.

The Board believes that the new name more clearly reflects the Company’s long-standing focus on and commitment to delivering a growing income to shareholders alongside capital growth. The Company has increased its dividend each year since its launch in 1992 and is recognised by the Association of Investment Companies (“The AIC”) as a Dividend Hero.

As part of this commitment, the Board intends to continue to increase the Company’s total annual dividend per share each year and will target this annual increase to be more than the rate of inflation, as measured by the UK Consumer Price Index as at 30 September each year.

The change of name does not result in any change to the Company’s investment objective or investment policy. The Company’s objective remains to secure long-term capital and income growth from a portfolio of primarily UK-listed companies. Dominic Younger of Columbia Threadneedle Investments remains as the Fund Manager of the Company.

Nicky McCabe, Chair of CT Progressive Income, said:

“For more than three decades, the Company has built a strong record of delivering a rising dividend to shareholders while also seeking capital growth.

“In a changing investment trust sector and with evolving investor expectations, the new name is intended to communicate the Company’s purpose more clearly and respond to investors’ needs for reliable and growing income that can help them plan for the future.

“For us, ‘Progressive Income’ means an income stream that we aim to grow over time. We intend to continue building on our record of annual dividend increases, with the ambition that this growth should be greater than inflation. At the same time, our investment objective and our focus on reliable income generative companies remain unchanged.”

The Company’s shares will trade under the new name on the London Stock Exchange from 8.00 a.m. London time today.

The Company's trading instrument display mnemonic (“TIDM”) will remain CTUK. Its ISIN (GB0003463287), SEDOL (0346328) and LEI (21380052ETTRKV2A6Y19) will also remain unchanged.

The Company’s website address will be amended to reflect the change of name and from later today will become ctprogressiveincome.co.uk.

Shareholders are unaffected by the changes and no action is required. Existing share certificates will remain valid and should be retained.
